Introducing myself

My name is Daniel Erro. I was born in Pamplona, a small town in Navarra, Spain, in 1979.

I received my Telecommunication Engineering Degree from UPNA in 2003. During my end-of-degree project, supervised by I. Arroabarren and A. Carlosena, I developed a tool for analysis/synthesis of musical sounds.

Then I moved to Barcelona and joined the TALP Research Center at UPC, where I did research on voice conversion and speech synthesis under the supervision of A. Moreno and A. Bonafonte. I received my PhD degree in 2008.

After that, I was offered a postdoc position in Aholab, the lab led by I. Hernaez at UPV/EHU, Bilbao. Since August 2012, I hold an Ikerbasque Research Fellowship. I keep on working on speech synthesis, transformation, vocoding, and related topics.

[new] After eight wonderful years in Bilbao, I've joined Cirrus Logic in Madrid. My new official email address is daniel dot erro at cirrus dot com.
